Joanne Oh was born in China, but grew up in the
Philippines. Her father was the Consul General in
the Chinese Embassy and the founder of the Manila
Symphony Orchestra. Her mother is a soprano singer
and professor of music.
Joanne can also speak the Chinese and Philippine
languages and has a Masters Degree in Public Health,
majoring in bacteriology at the University of the
Philippines. Joanne came to the U.S. with two
children and had four more in the U.S.
Joanne has lived in Fresno for 28 years and has
worked as a realtor since 1983 while still raising
six kids. She works hard as a realtor while making
sure her family has all of their needs taken care
of and was awarded mother of the year by the
Philippine community in 2004.
She is very proud of her children. Her first
daughter is a pediatrician, another is in
pharmaceutical sales and the third is finishing law
school. Her first son just received his masters
degree at UC Berkeley and the other two are both in
medical internship and will be physicians in a year.
Joanne went to China every year to see her dad, who
just passed away in 2004. Her father had been awarded
many
prestigious awards during his lifetime including a
noble prize of China. He
was the founder of Fuzhou Music University at the
age of 93. Joanne went back to China to attend
celebration of her father’s bronze statue and the
grand opening of his museum. She is very proud
of her father.
Joanne takes a cruise with family and
friends every year to recharge her battery.
Joanne loves her job. It makes her happy when she
knows that her sellers and buyers are happy with her
performance. Most of her customers are from referrals
from her past clients. She is in the top 5% of Century 21
associates worldwide and works for the number 1
Century 21 franchise in California.
